it is such a small world we live in!  i first met mrs. c over the phone and we got to chatting... and you won't believe this, but we went to the same elementary school at the same time!  how crazy is that???  and they have extended family that still live in jacksonville.  crazy! :)  anywho, we met up at the greensboro bicenntinel gardens.  i love that place, it's so lush and pretty.  and add a super cute and sweet family, and it's was a great time!  baby e is six months old and he is sooooo sweet.  he never once got upset.  and he has got the prettiest brown eyes.  here are a couple of my fav's.  thanks again C fam for letting me have the opportunity to take pics of your beautiful family!!!! :)

so the day after i did miss m, i headed down to one of my favorite places, raleigh, to see an old childhood friend!  i have known sarah since my parents moved us from little washington to jacksonville when i was 5.  we grew up about 1 mile from each other and went to nc state together too.  she still lives in raleigh and now she has two sweet little men! :)  they are soooo handsome and look just like her!  i was so happy to finally do this shoot too.  we had to reschedule due to bad weather and sickness so it was nice to do this for them.  aren't they just adorable?????  at 2 1/2 mr. d is fun and so cute, we chased a squirrel around the park.  and mr. s is sooo adorable and never once cried.  :)  i miss the days when my babies were babies like that.  i accidently let him tumble over when he was sitting up.  :(  but he did sooooo good for a sweet 6 month old.  enjoy!

hunk o' love!

so last monday, me and my sweet baby a took a trip to concord to visit baby n and his mommy and daddy.  let me just say that this first time mom is so awesome! :)  she definately has that mommy thing in her dna.  this was our 3rd shoot together.  we did her maternity and baby n's newborn pics.  she is so good with baby n.  he is a very special and lucky little man.  but the poor baby has some very serious reflux.  i felt so bad for him but luckily it's not painful for him and he definately hasn't missed many meals.  he is only 3 1/2 months old and is tipping the scales at over 19 pounds.  hope you enjoy a little sneak!

i am so sorry not to have posted in a while.  my sweet baby alex had what started out as a double ear infection, turned into flu, turned into bronchilitis.  so it's been fun around here! LOL!!!!  anywho, i had a lovely time the other week doing a photoshoot with my super sweet nephew, evan.  he is such a good and sweet boy and never makes a sound! :)  and he is getting soooo big too.  it's crazy because he looks just like his dad.  why can't us women get some credit for these young kiddos.  anywho, take a peek!

winter

so this winter weather this year has been really harsh.  i just can't believe how accustomed i am to it all.  snow already 3 times this season.  and unfortunately it doesn't even phase me.  so in the mean time, i am working about creating some exciting stuff for photographs.  they can be used as gifts too.  thus far i have only made newborn knit hats, but today i made my first silk flower headband.  and i LOVE it.  i will hopefully take some pics and post some of the items very soon!!! :)  stay tuned...
